After like 40 trips to Africa over the last 10 years, I’m now starting to revisit countries–some several times now–and even revisit places. Like northern Uganda: I’ve been to Gulu and places north in this country more than just a few times. But every time is wonderful. This trip was to visit with refugees coming into Adjumani from South Sudan and how Medical Teams International is providing great care for them. I witnessed a live birth, among other things, and saw life in a refugee camp in a whole new way…
One of the best parts of the trip? Getting chauffeured around Uganda by the one and only Daniel Ward, seen here admiring the Nile River just above the famous Murchison Falls. Definitely a must see if you ever find your self in Uganda.
