Every Tuesday for 36 years at the Marian House Soup Kitchen, a loyal cadre of First Pres members has helped prepare and serve meals for a diverse group of hungry people, like this man, in Colorado Springs.
When Catholic Charities determined they needed to enlarge and modernize their Marian House facility, First Pres stepped up as a financial contributor as well. Currently, the average number of recipients—struggling families, seniors on a fixed income, the working poor, veterans, people with disabilities, unsupported teens, and those who are homeless—is about 600 per day.
