Every week First Pres staff and deacons visit the sick and dying in area hospitals and health care facilities. From families of children born with birth defects—like this newborn girl—or other maladies, to individuals ailing from a host of illnesses, the church has the great privilege of walking alongside those who are suffering.
It’s a critical ministry: every week there are church members and friends in hospitals who need to know that they are not forgotten in their moments of pain or grief. Rich opportunities exist within the ministry and mission work of First Pres to love and serve in the medical arena.
