I’ve been to Haiti quite a few times now, but it’s been a year or two since the last time, when I came face to face with Haiti’s newly elected President. Anyhow, this time was quite different than holing up in Port-au-Prince and bumping around town dodging rubble. This time I hiked WAY up in the hills to do a story on traditional birth attendants that Medical Teams International is helping equip to better serve expecting and new mothers. It was hot and humid but terribly fun.
