Central Africa Republic

Recently I traveled to Central Africa Republic (yes, I know, no one knows where it is but as you might guess, it’s in central Africa) on assignment for MercyCorps. Many great things came out of this shoot, like the cover shot and Alphonsine’s story in A Girl Can that MercyCorps published. Here are a few of the images from the shoot:

CAR has been in turmoil since I left. You can read about the MercyCorps staff having to flee and their subsequent return. When I think of people doing a GREAT job in the developing world, MercyCorps is right at the top of my list. I love you guys!

CC Hockey

When I am in town, and when CC Hockey is playing at home, I shoot the games. It’s great fun and a nice break from international travel. Here is one I liked from last weekend against Denver University.

Angelic

I am a bit fascinated right now with shooting inanimate objects; I like the idea of shooting them as if they were really living objects. Here’s one I did awhile back that recently re-caught my attention: a wooden angel at First Presbyterian Church in Colorado Springs.
